I have had not luck with generic batteries so this battery is the only way to go.

It says it’s a spare battery for the coolpix S series camera, but yet it does not seem to fit into my coolpix S52C. I should’ve waited until I got the camera and read the manual as to which are the compatible accessories. Be sure you don’t make the same mistake!
