I read a lot of neg reviews – not terrible but saying some quality missing in the actual photos, and difficulty with focus at times….. Well, the choice is to pay the bigger dollar. I don’ t have the extra right now so tried this one. My old digital (3 megapixal with 7x telephoto) really lacked when trying to take distance pics.

I give the pix80 a 5 based on what you get for the price. Many great features for those who like to fiddle, or simply pic and shoot. takes great wide lens photos (like trying to show a whole room) and the tele is good for stage or baseball player type pics.

    I really like it.

This product is a huge disappointment. It is not versatile, it’s only big enough to squeeze your camera in, has no strap for means to transport, no storage worth mentioning, and the tiny little pockets do not secure down anything even my means of velcro. My advice, buy a bigger case with some storage areas and a carrying strap until Nikon can figure out what a waste of space this one is.

It’s hard to find a simple streamlined case for small squarish cameras and this is perfect. I have a Canon A710 that I always keep a lens adapter tube on but which makes it a chunky camera too large for most small camera cases. I needed something that would protect the camera while throwing it in a backpack or tote bag so I didn’t need a belt loop or attached shoulder/neck strap. This fit the bill exactly. The padding is not too thick but there’s just enough of it to protect the camera. The only way it could be better is if it had a zipper closure, but the velcro seems secure enough.

Gigabargain is the Amazon vendor I purchased this from. They shipped it quickly and also sent a tracking number. The price was great too — just under 5 bucks including shipping. It truly is a great bargain! I’m very happy with this purchase.

For $4.00 what do you expect? It is good for keeping your camera for travel & from dust. It doesn’t come with a strap but the camera strap works fine. So why spend more when this serves its purpose.

This is a good highly compact case, ideal for slipping into a carry bag or fanny pack. Prevents scratching the camera and just enough padding to protect from small bumps. Cover closes with Velcro. However, the closed cover does not seal tightly. The inside pocket is not too useful. If you put a hard object in it, pressing the top of the case may turn on the camera inside. The outside pockets are also not too useful as anything in them can slip out as there is no flap or closure. But a good value for under $10.
